Reverend Katori Mobley is a passionate preacher and educator committed to helping people experience transformation through the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Born in Sheffield, Alabama, to Elder Kelsey and Mrs. Teffany Mobley, Rev. Mobley expressed a deep love for God and the people of God at an early age. At the age of 12, he surrendered his life to Christ and began walking in the calling that would shape his life and ministry.
He was ordained to the ministry in December 2014 at Healing Fountain Apostolic Faith Church under the late Bishop Thomas Owens Jr. of Sheffield, Alabama.

 
Rev. Mobley previously served as the Worship and Preaching Director at Union Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop Sir Walter Mack Jr., where he led worship, preached the Gospel, and supported the church's spiritual growth and discipleship efforts. In July 2025, Rev. Mobley was officially ordained into the Rowan Baptist Association.
A passionate advocate for both ministry and education, Rev. Mobley is a graduate of Wiley University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in History. He later earned the Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree from Wake Forest University School of Divinity in December 2020.

In addition to his ministry work, Rev. Mobley has faithfully served in education as a teacher at North Hills Elementary School, where he has taught both 4th-grade and Kindergarten students. He has also served as a mentor and Student Chaplain for the Union Community Development Corporation. His experience in education and mentorship has strengthened his commitment to leadership development and holistic community transformation.
In May of 2026, Rev. Katori Mobley was elected as Senior Pastor of New Birth Worship Center in East Bend, NC, where he is devoted to the work of building disciples and ministering the truth of God’s word.  

Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies at the University of the Cumberlands, where his academic interests focus on leadership, transformation, and retention strategies. 

Rev. Mobley is deeply passionate about worship, preaching, and developing disciples who live out their faith with purpose, authenticity, and spiritual maturity. He has a strong desire to win souls and lead people into transformed lives through biblical teaching, intentional relationships, and the life-changing power of the Gospel.
